Our Programs

Practical training for real jobs in construction

At Colonial Trade College, we offer one focused program. It’s a 3-month pre-apprenticeship course that helps you learn the skills you need to start working in construction. The program is short, hands-on, and designed to help you get hired fast.

Program Overview

Our program runs for 3 months full-time and is made for people who want to start working in construction quickly. It includes both classroom learning and real job site training. The program is open to citizens, permanent residents, and people with work permits living in Ontario.

What You’ll Learn

You’ll learn how to use tools safely, follow job site rules, and work with a team. We teach you real skills through hands-on experience on actual construction sites. This helps you get ready for real jobs after training. You’ll also build the confidence to handle tasks the right way.

What You Get

After you finish the program, you’ll receive a Certificate of Training. We also help you find a job with one of our partner companies. Some of these companies offer extra benefits like RRSPs, health plans, and profit sharing. You’ll leave the program with the skills, support, and connections needed to start your career.

What Comes Next

After getting your certificate and job support, we continue to guide you as you grow in the construction field. We offer helpful tips, connections, and updates to keep you moving forward. Our goal is to make sure your success doesn’t stop after the training ends. We stay connected so you always have support as you build your career.
